On Tuesday, Dublin High School's Mock Trial team attended Alameda County's Law Day Event, which featured guest speaker California Attorney General Rob Bonta!

The Law Day luncheon was coordinated by the Kazan Law Firm, and its managing partner Steven Kazan, who is also on the board of Berkeley Law Foundation. The event took place at the Town Fare Café at the Oakland Museum and numerous Dublin High mock trial students attended, including: Harveer Saini, Mannat Dhaliwal, Tanishka Kandakatla, Zareena Shamrao, Anika Gupta, Emily Lim, and Dublin High Mock Trial Advisor Mr. Larry Low.

At the event, Attorney General Rob Bonta shared his journey and experiences as he assumed the role of California Attorney General. His speech provided valuable insights into the legal field, proving both inspiring and enlightening for all our students. He spoke about the challenges he faced, the milestones he achieved, and the lessons he learned along the way, offering a unique perspective on public service and justice.

Following his address, Dublin High students had the opportunity to engage with Attorney General Bonta, asking questions about his experiences and gaining deeper understanding of the complexities and rewards of a career in law. This interaction further enriched the educational experience, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.

Numerous Dublin High students also had the opportunity to network with prominent attorneys and judges from the Bay Area. These interactions provided invaluable professional connections and insights into various legal careers. Many of these students will be undertaking law-related internships over the summer, allowing them to further immerse themselves in the legal field and gain practical experience.

Overall, Law Day was an amazing experience for all of our students, offering them unique opportunities to learn, connect, and be inspired by professionals in the legal community.
