Competitions/Scrimmages
Varsity team members in the Dublin High School Mock Trial team have the opportunity to attend the Philip A. Harley Memorial Alameda County Mock Trial Competition every February/March as well as scrimmages against other schools in the Bay Area for preparation. Additionally, all members may attend online competitions throughout the year, such as the Mock Trial Tournament of Champions and Golden Gavel classic.
Career Exploration
Mock Trial members are able to take part in numerous law-related career exploration opportunities such as Law Day and field trips to the Alameda County Superior Courts. We also have numerous guest speakers and experts that attend our meetings throughout the year who provide their first-hand experiences in law careers.
Policy & Lobbying
Mock Trial members have the opportunity to write support letters and lobby for numerous bills in State Senate Committees. The Mock Trial club also hosts numerous lobby days throughout the year where mock trial members can provide public comments on bills they are passionate about at the California State Capitol in Sacramento.
